MetroLIFE

The MetroLIFE Project provides meaningful support to at-risk youth in need of life transformation through mind renewal.  Having access to specialized resources enables participants to develop self-sustained mental and emotional capabilities in order to navigate life’s challenges without resorting to self-destructive behaviors.  We serve families who seek change, by walking with them through the growing and healing stages of self-help.  We are stakeholders in the Englewood “village” dedicated to walking alongside youth from 10th grade through high school graduation, and on to college or career entry.

The MetroLIFE Project is the relevant, relational, reflective, and responsive approach to reducing at-risk tendencies in youth.  The acronym “LIFE” encourages the individual to:  Live In Freedom Everyday!  The concept of living in freedom everyday is a reminder to program participants to take ownership of their lives and make strategic, healthy decisions that will set them up for future success. Therefore, the simple, yet strong vision statement of the MetroLIFE Project is: “bringing sustainable life transformation through intentional mind reformation.”
